Hello all.  I have uploaded a file from XLS, and created a DTT file.  The first field is a 17 character field.  When I try to upload a new spreadsheet, with the exact same formatting, it crashes on row 1, because the first column has 7 digits.  Why on earth does it stop a number from uploading to a character field?  I have other columns with mixed character/numbers that work fine.  This is driving me nuts.  Thanks for any help.  

You should contact IBM for help with their product in this case.  I personally haven't used this feature myself, and not many others frequent this board.
