GETURI v10.00 Released Supporting IBM Global Security Kit (GSKIT) and Server Name Indication (SNI)

GETURI v10.00 was just release with these two important updates:

  • The option to use the IBM Global Security Kit (GSKIT) for SSL/TLS communications.  This update was required as it appears IBM is not updating or supporting new features on the "legacy" SSL APIs (such as SNI).  You can tell GETURI to use the default SSL APIs or the GSKIT for SSL communication using the command or the API interface
  • Server Name Indication (SNI) functionality was also added (only valid when using GSKIT for SSL communications).  By default the host name of the URI will be used, but this can be manually overridden on the command or API interface.

This is a major update to GETURI and we ask that you report any issues or bugs to us so we can work them out.  Thank you!
